Now that you will be starting your MBA degree in the Fall with remote learning, know that at Laurier we will help you every step of the way – and that includes getting you prepared for a virtual fall.

1. Sourcing Software

Having the right software on your computer is key to a seamless online course experience. Before your first day of class, get set up with essential software, free of charge to all Laurier students.

  • Online/Remote courses often require you to use Zoom Communications web-conferencing. Check out our guide to get started with zoom using your @mylaurier.ca account.
  • Download Microsoft Office 365 and get the latest version of the full Office productivity suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, and one TB of storage through OneDrive for Business.

2. Stay Connected

At Laurier, we are a community first – both in person and online. The Lazaridis MBA has created a thriving online community to stay connected. Join our private facebook group  for the 2020 Full-time incoming class to receive updates and connect with fellow future Full-time and Full-time with Co-op MBA students.

3. Financial Aid, Graduate Funding & Awards

Here at Laurier there are several graduate funding and research scholarship award opportunities available. Master’s and doctoral students can be eligible for employment-based funding, internal scholarships and awards, as well as, external funding awards. The Ontario Student Assistance Program (OSAP) is a government funded program that assists eligible students to pay for their postsecondary education through grants and loans.
